Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. In the afternoon, visit Buddha Dordenma, a golden statue overlooking the valley.
Enjoy a relaxing evening with an introduction to Bhutan’s avian biodiversity at the National Museum of Bhutan.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Dochula Pass, a high-altitude pass known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, and head to Phobjikha Valley.
Phobjikha is renowned for being home to the black-necked crane, which migrates here during the winter. Spend the afternoon birdwatching in the valley, spotting a variety of waterfowl and bird species like the grey-headed lapwing and tibetan snipe.
Visit the Gangtey Monastery, perched high above the valley, and explore its surrounding sacred forests.
