Bhutans Birding Bonanza: Wings Over the Himalayas

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Dochula Pass, a high-altitude pass known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, and head to Phobjikha Valley.
Phobjikha is renowned for being home to the black-necked crane, which migrates here during the winter. Spend the afternoon birdwatching in the valley, spotting a variety of waterfowl and bird species like the grey-headed lapwing and tibetan snipe.
Visit the Gangtey Monastery, perched high above the valley, and explore its surrounding sacred forests.

Explore the diverse habitats around Royal Manas National Park, with chances to see species like Indian hornbills, lesser adjutant storks, and great pied hornbills.
