Daywise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. On the way, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a sacred site built by the legendary iron-bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo.
After checking in, visit the Buddha Dordenma, a towering 51-meter golden statue offering a panoramic view of Thimphu Valley. In the evening, visit the National Memorial Chorten, where locals gather for evening prayers.
After dinner, enjoy your first night of stargazing from the rooftop of your eco-lodge.
Overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Dochula Pass (3,100m), one of Bhutan’s most scenic mountain passes, offering a 360-degree view of the Himalayas. Visit the Druk Wangyal Chortens, a cluster of 108 memorial stupas, before continuing to Punakha.
In the afternoon, explore Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu Rivers. Take a walk across Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge, offering beautiful valley views.
After sunset, return to Dochula Pass, where you will observe the stars from this high-altitude viewpoint, far from city lights.
Overnight in Punakha.

Depart for Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan’s most pristine glacial valleys, known for its clear skies and breathtaking landscapes. Visit Gangtey Monastery, a hilltop monastery overlooking the valley.
In the evening, take a guided night hike through the valley, where you will walk under a sky full of stars, with minimal artificial light interference. Enjoy a bonfire and storytelling session, where your guide will share ancient Bhutanese myths about the stars and the cosmos.

Begin the day with a scenic drive to Bumthang, passing through Pele La Pass (3,390m) and Trongsa, where you will visit the historic Trongsa Dzong. Continue your journey along the Chamkhar Chhu River, admiring the pristine riverbanks and surrounding mountains.
Upon arrival, visit Kurjey Lhakhang, where Guru Rinpoche meditated, and Jambay Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.
In the evening, visit a local astrologer, who will explain the Bhutanese astrological system and its significance in daily life. After dinner, head to a secluded hilltop location for another night of stargazing, where you will see deep sky objects and constellations with minimal light pollution.

Today, take a scenic drive to Haa Valley, one of Bhutan’s most remote and unspoiled regions. Stop for lunch in Paro before continuing over Chele La Pass (3,988m), Bhutan’s highest motorable pass, where you will watch the sunset over the Himalayas.
Upon arrival in Haa, check into a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse or eco-lodge. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the fireplace, followed by an unparalleled stargazing experience under one of the clearest night skies in Bhutan.

Spend the day exploring the hidden beauty of Haa Valley. Visit Lhakhang Karpo and Lhakhang Nagpo, two ancient temples associated with spiritual legends.
Take a riverside nature walk along the Haa Chhu River, where you can admire pristine forests and local villages. In the evening, return to your lodge for a special night of celestial observation, with guided insights into the Himalayan night sky.

After breakfast, return to Paro and embark on a hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang, 3,120m). This 4–5 hour round-trip trek offers stunning views of one of Bhutan’s most sacred and visually striking monasteries.
After the hike, unwind with a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, perfect for relaxing your muscles.

Enjoy your final morning in Bhutan with a leisurely breakfast and some last-minute shopping in Paro town. Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure, taking with your unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s pristine night skies and sacred landscapes.
