Driving Distance: 55 km | Duration: 1.5 hours

After arriving at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a temple built by the famous iron bridge-builder Thangtong Gyalpo.

In Thimphu, visit Tashichho Dzong, the administrative and religious center of Bhutan, followed by Buddha Dordenma, a 169-foot statue of Buddha overlooking the valley. Explore National Memorial Chorten, a key spiritual site, and visit the Craft Bazaar, where you can browse traditional Bhutanese handicrafts.

Driving Distance: 85 km | Duration: 2.5 hours

Cross Dochula Pass (3,100m), which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, before descending into the lush Punakha Valley.
